172d AW Graduates Record CCAF Class

The 172d Airlift Wing held its largest Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) graduation ceremony on Sunday, November 2, 2014 with over 60 graduates. The graduates included enlisted members from the 172 Maintenance Group, 172d Medical Group, 172d Mission Support Group, 172d Operations Group, 172d Airlift Group, Joint Forces State Headquarters, CRTC, 255th Air Control Squadron and the 209th Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron. The Wing was honored to have CMSgt David R. Staton, Command Chief Master Sergeant, Second Air Force, Keesler Air Force base as the keynote speaker. Chief Staton quoted "this group was as large as an active duty CCAF ceremony but he had never seen this many family members come out in support of one". He commended the Wing on a job well done.
