. -- Members of the 172d Airlift Wing were the recipients of the Air National Guard Maintenance Effectiveness Award, Category I, Small Unit. The maintainers are essential in keeping the wing's fleet of C-17 Globemaster aircraft ready for the series of global airlift missions that the wing flies.
